I got a couple sister logs of figured claro back in 2013 out of Junction City, Oregon, in the Willamette Valley. These trees grew right next to each other and are clearly of the same genetics. I cut the lumber at 6/4 and it has been air drying ever since, so 11 years at the time of this listing. The grain is very rich and leathery and there is plenty of figure all over these plates. Some will have some very minor pin sized voids where noted that may need to be filled if they are inside the pattern.....this set has a very skinny 3" long inclusion on the unmatched face of the right hand plate.
