I got a couple sister logs of figured claro back in 2013 out of Junction City, Oregon, in the Willamette Valley. These trees grew right next to each other and are clearly of the same genetics. I cut the lumber at 6/4 and it has been air drying ever since, so 11 years at the time of this listing. The grain is very rich and leathery and there is plenty of figure all over these plates.
